Heading out from Preston on the main Lytham Road, 3 miles before the famous Royal Lytham & St Anne's golf links, you will find The Lytham Golf Centre. This recently refurbished golfing centre is now open late and has all any golfer needs to fine tune their golfing skills. The 24 bay floodlit driving range boasts new mats and balls along with its unique golfers workout system. The range has a reception area where you can meet and enjoy hot and cold drinks before and after your visit to the range.

The short game and par 3 practice areas opened in May 2011. With 7 wedge flags to aim at for lob, gap and full wedge play, 2 chip n' run greens, an 18 hole putting facility (all cut from Lytham links grass), you can spend hours refining this important part of your game. The Par 3 course features three short par 3 holes with different play required for each. The holes play in a loop so the golfer can actually play nine challenging golf holes in less than 45 minutes.

The centre has also developed a golf school and junior academy. Lessons are available 7 days a week from PGA trained staff. Options include full ½ hour tuition or a 20 minute refresher lesson on wedge, iron or driver play. The junior golf academy is open to ages 8 – 12 with full swing advice and competition play included.
